Terms and Conditions
Last updated 26/11/2026
These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Ktima Demosthenous website and explain how website enquiries relate to event bookings. Please read them before using the website or submitting an enquiry. Confirmed event services are subject to a separate written booking agreement.

2 Using the website
You may use this website to learn about our venue, view our services and contact us about weddings, christenings, private events, corporate events and catering. Please use it lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us.
You must not introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the website’s operation, impersonate another person or submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content. If you contact us for another person or organisation, you must have authority to do so.
Please do not send payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information through a general contact form.
3 Information on the website
Photographs, sample menus, venue layouts and service descriptions illustrate what we offer. Event-specific arrangements, availability, inclusions, guest numbers and prices must be confirmed in your quotation and booking agreement. Images may show decoration or services supplied separately or by independent providers.
We aim to keep information accurate and current. If an error affects a quotation or proposed booking, we will clarify it before agreement. We will not use a website update to change an existing booking unilaterally or remove any rights you have under consumer law.
4 Enquiries and booking confirmation
Submitting a form, requesting a quotation or using a button such as “Book now” to send an enquiry does not, by itself, reserve a date or create a confirmed event booking. An automatic receipt of your message is not booking confirmation.
A booking becomes binding only through the acceptance and confirmation process set out in the written booking agreement, including any payment requirement clearly disclosed before you commit. Please obtain written confirmation before treating a date, service or supplier arrangement as secured.
5 Quotations and payments
Your quotation and booking agreement will set out the agreed services, date, venue areas, guest numbers, price, applicable taxes, additional charges and payment schedule. Any quotation validity period must be stated in the quotation.
Deposits, balances and payment methods are those expressly agreed in writing. These website terms do not establish a standard deposit, impose a cancellation fee or declare payments non-refundable. Changes affecting the price or scope must be agreed through the applicable booking process.
6 Cancellations and changes to an event
Cancellation, postponement, guest-number changes, refunds and arrangements for circumstances beyond either party’s control are governed by the booking agreement and applicable law. The relevant conditions must be available to you before you make a binding booking.
If you need to change or cancel an event, contact us promptly in writing. Alternative dates and changes are subject to availability and agreement. Nothing in these terms creates an automatic right for either party to retain all payments or cancel without the consequences required by the agreement and law.
Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain applicable where provided by law. The rules can differ according to the service and whether it is booked for a specific date. Any applicable exception must be explained before you commit; these website terms do not apply a blanket waiver.
7 Event details and independent suppliers
The booking agreement should confirm service times, final guest numbers, menu choices, dietary arrangements, access, external suppliers and any relevant venue requirements. Please discuss allergies and accessibility needs in advance so that specific arrangements can be confirmed.
If you contract directly with a photographer, decorator, entertainer or other independent supplier, that supplier’s agreement governs your purchase from them. A reference or link on our website does not itself make that supplier part of your booking with us. This does not limit our responsibility for services that we have agreed to provide.
8 Website content and intellectual property
Website text, branding, photographs, videos and other materials are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. You may view and save reasonable extracts for your own event planning. Commercial reuse, redistribution or alteration requires the relevant permission, except where permitted by law.
Sending us an enquiry, photograph or event detail does not grant us a general right to publish it for marketing. Personal information and permissions are addressed in the Privacy Policy and any separate permission you provide.
9 External links and website availability
External links and embedded services may take you to third-party platforms with their own terms and privacy notices. Please review them before using those services.
Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our reasonable control. If the website is unavailable, contact us by email or telephone. Website downtime does not change the terms of an already confirmed event booking.
10 Responsibility and consumer rights
We are responsible for our obligations under the agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These terms do not make you responsible for losses caused by our own failure to meet our legal obligations. Any limitation relating to a particular booked service must be expressly set out in the booking agreement and permitted by law.
11 Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Our Cookies Policy explains cookies and related choices. Using the website does not, by itself, give consent to optional tracking or promotional messages.
12 Applicable law and resolving concerns
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their country of habitual residence where those protections apply.
Please contact info@ktimademosthenous.com about a concern, including the relevant enquiry or booking reference. We will consider the issue and seek a practical resolution. You retain the right to contact a competent authority or bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable law.
13 Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms for future use of the website. The date above identifies the current version. A change does not retrospectively alter an existing booking without a lawful basis and any agreement required from you.
